Solenn, Heart, Bianca and Rhian in MMFF Movie Sosy Problems

I was able to attend the Premiere Night of Sosy Problems last December 22, 2012 with my friends and some of the press. Seriously speaking, the trailer didn't get much of attention but knowing who are the main casts are, will make you really want to watch the said movie.
Sosy Problems is all about the four "super-duper-elite" friends who decided to have a rally because of one issue; turning Polo Club into a Yaya Mall. The most famous line of this movie is "No to Yaya Mall, Yes to Polo Club."

Meet the Sosy group:

Rhian Ramos as Lizzie Consuji

She's the most spoiled rich girl. She was sent to the province because of her bratty attitude. Rhian really did great in this movie. She acts naturally, but yeah of course in real life she's not like Lizzie. I hope Rhian will do a lot comedy movies in the future.

Bianca King as Danielle Alvarez

Daughter of an ex-politician. Their family are having a money issue that made her do anything, even pretend to her friends that she's still rich just to hide their problem. Bianca's role are somehow common to other people and what I like about it is that it shows how a rich girl turn into a poor one and how she cope with it. Bianca's role is always simple yet memorable.

Heart Evangelista as Claudia Ortega and Solenn Heussaff as Margaux Bertrand

Claudia, the daughter of a beauty queen(Agot Isidro), a bestfriend and half-sister of Margaux who is also the daughter of a former beauty queen (Cherie Gil). They fell in love with the same guy that almost ruin their friendship just like what happened to their mothers. Heart is a good actress and so she can do whatever role they give her. It's good to see Solenn do another comedy movie after her movie with Jose and Wally. I think that being not so fluent in Tagalog adds a pa-sosyal to the movie which is I think a good point plus she's already kalog and that what makes her more effective on her role.

I've read a good and bad reviews about this movie. It is a good movie for me because it is something new here in the Philippines. I've seen a lot of exaggerated comedy movies international but not here in our country so it's nice that they've come up with that kind of concept.

Believe me or not, some of us are having sosy problems whether they are elite or just a social climbers, right? Oh come on, I prefer to watch this than to watch another sequel movie. So good or bad reviews, I still recommend this movie. :)

Watch Sosy Problems in cinemas near you!

Fab Collab: IT GIRL Solenn Heussaff for Vitress

Vitress launched it's new cuticle coat last November 14, 2012 in SM Makati.

IT Girl, Solenn Heussaff designed the new cuticle coat and the kikay kit too! (via Instagram)

I really like Vitress because it can protect our hair from harmful and bad effects of chemicals used in other hair treatments. It is also good for my curly hair because it tames unruly hair and give a natural straighter look.

"Vitress is not only for girls, it can be also used by boys especially those who have long hair."- said Solenn.

See? Vitress can make your hair beautiful anywhere, anytime whatever your gender is. :)

Furne Onè X Bench: Raina Hein at the Mall of Asia

Raina Hein is the new face of the Furne One x Bench collaboration perfume scent "Unholy".

Fans were given a chance to meet her at the Mall of Asia.

All they need to do is to buy one of the three Furne Onè scents. Handsome Girl has a sweet scent while Unholy has a sexy elegant appeal. I bought the Unholy, obecause what I like about it is that it has the same scent like my favorite perfume and a lot cheaper. Beautiful Boy and Handsome Girl costs Php.398 while Unholy costs Php.468.

The event supposed to start at 6pm but because of the accident that caused traffic in Manila, the Meet and Greet started at 8pm. Most of us decided to stay and wait for her.

Raina showed up at the meet and greet, stood in front of us while apologizing for being so late. Such a sweet person :)

Been talking to Raina for almost a year and I still can't believe that I already met her. I never expect that she will really recognized me without introducing my self when we met at the Meet and Greet. She's one of the sweetest, humble and kindest person I've known. I can say that I am so lucky to be her friend. She's really worth the wait. :) (via Instagram)

Top Model Invasion: Raina Hein for Bench

As we all know, Bench already brought three America's Next Top Models here in the Philippines. Allison Harvard, Dominique Reighard and Sophie Sumner endorsed the said brand.

After bringing them here in Manila, ANTM fans are requesting to bring the other models here. I've been observing all of their requests and a lot of them asked to bring Raina Hein. I, myself requested for her too. :)

Then Raina Hein started to tweet in Tagalog that made us puzzled if she's really going here in Manila:

And yesterday, she posted a photo on her twitter:

Mr. Michael Carandang and Bench confirmed it through twitter:

And just now, Raina Hein tweeted about going here in Manila...

and YES, she'll be here in two days. :)

I am a big fan of ANTM especially of Raina Hein that is why I am so happy and excited that finally she will be here in Manila to endorse one of the brand I love, Bench. :)

Clear Dream Match

I never imagine my self watching a football game or any sports live except for the sports that I've watched at the sports fest. When Clear announced that they will be having a Football Dream Match, I was really excited to watch it.

Here's the list of the players:

I went to the game with my awesome friends. We all wear black since that is the color for the Team James. We also cheered Solenn's boyfriend, Nico Bolzico. One thing I realized when we watched the game is that it is so hard to cheer for one team since they were all good players, so we end up cheering both teams.. and we regret nothing. :)

Here are some of the photos (Sorry for the blurred photos):

James Younghusband

Saba Garmaroudi from Team Phil. Best Goalkeeper of the night :)

Dinner from Greenwich, the Official Food Partner of Clear Dream Match.

Eventhough Team Phil won the Dream Match, we're still proud on the Team James' game performance :)

(Lhen, Zhell, Jai and Me)

(Me, Ly and EJ)

I enjoyed watching the game and I was able to spend the night with my friends and that makes the whole night awesome :)

Thank you so much Clear for the VIP Tickets and for giving us the opportunity to watch the Clear Dream Match :)

Award-winning actor Paulo Avelino has a lot to be thankful for - acting recognitions, a phenomenal TV series (He play as Nathan in Walang Hanggan) , slew of endorsements. However, for Paulo, he considers his throngs of fans his biggest blessing.

As a means of thanking those people who selflessly loves him, Paulo has just released his first single – his own rendition of the hit When She Cries., which was one of the biggest hits of the 90’s originally done by Restless Heart.

“This is a gift to all my fans,” says Paulo. “I want to give all of you (my fans) this song.”

He singles out the line “I pray this time, I can be the man that she deserves”  as his promise to his fans that he hopes that he is deserving of all their love and support.

The Red Crab Alimango House: 24 Ways Of Enjoying Your Crab

Since the rain is not really in the mood, I thought I will never gonna make it to the event, but I thought wrong... well, we are a little bit late but still, we were able to attend the blogger's night in Red Crab Lucky Chinatown mall.

Here's what I ate during the event:

Deep Fried Crab with Togue in Sichuan Sauce and Crab Adobo sa Buko

Crab Sotanghon and Crab Singapura

Chinese Salted Egg Crab and Roasted Garlic Crab

Crab Tausi and Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter Crab

Thai Chili Crab and Crab Sinigang sa Sampaloc

The prices are:

Middlewight Crabs P145 / 100g (500-700g)
Big Crabs P155 / 100g (800-900g)
King Crabs P165 / 100g (1kg-up)
Female Crabs P165 / 100g (all sizes)

I got to taste 10 out of 24 Crab Dishes. 24 Crab Dishes? Yes, you read it right. What I love about these dishes is that it does have a certain taste that makes you crave for more.

My favorite dishes so far is the Crab Sinigang sa Sampaloc and Crab Singapura (though I love all the dishes). Sinigang is my comfort food and I was really surprised that they combine it with a crab plus this is the perfect food during rainy days. Crab Singapura made me miss my Singapore days (reminiscing while eating haha). The golden fried buns is really perfect for this dish since in Singapore some people would prefer eating this rather than rice. And rice will make you feel bloated while you're having a moment with the 24 crab dishes, it's not cool right? So I still choose buns over a rice ;)

Well, some people I know, think that I hate crab because they barely see me eating crabs during the occasions. The reason behind it is that I really don't know how to eat crabs so I end up waiting for my parents to take off the shell.. weird but true. So thanks to Mee-i for helping me and teaching me during the blogger's night! (First time eh hahaha).

And one thing I learned while eating is that in order to enjoy eating those 24 crab dishes you must eat it with your bare hands :)

For those who love crabs and buffet, I am sure you will enjoy this in Red Crab Greenbelt 3 for the month of August.

Thank you Red Crab for inviting us! :)
