GSM Blueniversity 2011

Summer is really over. Classes starts and every students are excited to see their friends and show their new school stuffs. Seriously, I was really excited to know that the classes in our school started on June 14 but then I realized that I already graduated last April. I miss going to school, I miss having lunch with my friends. I miss everything, well, except for the deadlines of project and of course the hell week. Enough of the dramas. :)

So yeah for those who does not know my course, I took up AB Psychology and HRM was my second choice of course. Yeah you read it right. I like HRM course because I was really fond of watching those Flair Bartenders entertaining guests by manipulating bar tools and of course liquor bottles. And I am so glad to receive an invitation from GSM Blueniversity.

And yes, I grabbed this opportunity to attend the Mixology Seminar.

This is a yearly program by GSM Blue, the goal of GSM Blueniversity is to educate HRM students, future bartenders, and the bartenders-at-heart on how to become confident, knowledgeable, and capable in the realm of bartending and mixing drinks.

The Flair-tenders champion taught us how to mix the best GSM Blue mixes that could be easily made at home. Also, some of the bloggers got the chance to mix their own drinks and the best mix was declared the winner and awarded with cool GSM Blue premium items. Isn't that cool? And to make it really cool, all the participants get to receive certificates and the best student was awarded to be the Toma-Cum Laude of the night.

My Certificate! :D

GSM Blue Premium items

I would like to take this opportunity to thank GSM Blue and of course Mr. Jayce Perlas. This event really made my dream came true, I feel like I'm an HRM student now. So again, thank you :)

TUNOG NATIN! Colors of Freedom OPM Concert

I’m a music lover and I am a PROUD PINOY that’s why I attend the OPM Concert held in Ayala Triangle Garden Makati to support the OPM Artists last June 15, 2011.

There are lots of performers and most of them are my favorite artists. It was not my first time to attend concerts but this is my first time to get a chance to be on the backstage with some artists.

So here is my photos with some of the performers :

HAPPY CENTENNIAL! ANIMO LA SALLE!

Last Thursday, De La Salle Universities celebrated it's 1oo years of Greenovation.
Me and my friends decided to celebrate it in Taft since it was open for public, unfortunately we are so late so we didn't get the chance to see the students dancing in front of school and i wasn't able to get that balloon from La Salle. :( So yeah we decided to look for the bazaar and WOW we were really shocked when we saw that there is so many students in there. My friends and I are planning to buy Lasallian Ballers but it was sold out. It wasn't really a good day for us but i really enjoy the night because I'm with them and we were now part of the history. :)
We forgot to take photos of some of the activities inside the school but we never forgot to take pictures of us :D

VOTE for my M&M Candydate: Miss GREEN :)

Green is the prime color of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises.

-Pedro Calderon de la Barca

WHY GREEN? It really makes me wonder why I chose green over blue, red, yellow and orange. Oh I know! Maybe because I collect green stuffs, oh wait, no.. the only thing that is color green here is my wall and one pillow. So I guess it’s not the reason.

Then I remember this phrase “Proudly Green” by our Alma Mater De La Salle University. Now I realized that I chose green because it’s in my blood, not literally. And as a Lasallian student I must say that “I’d rather be green than be blue” :)

That is also the reason why I voted Miss Green For M&M’s Candydate :)

M&M’s Vote & Win Campaign is part of a global campaign to celebrate the people’s choice candydate. Stephanie, Kok, Mars Philippines, Inc.’s Brand Specialist - Chocolate: “We’ve all got our favorite M&M’s colours, but which of the five really speak to Filipinos collectively? Only M&M’s Vote & Win Campaign will tell. We’re excited to have Filipinos be part of this fun campaign and uncover the exciting content we have online.

Meet the Candydates:

Blue, a.k.a. Mr cool, confident and contemporary, is hoping that his charm with the ladies and varying degrees of coolness will help him to sway the public vote.

image

Red, a power colour by nature, was born to lead and as he is a pro at bossing people around, he’ll be forcing your hand for you vote.

image

Orange isn’t quite sure how he got sucked into this in the first place and is feeling somewhat nervous so is in desperate need of some support.

image

Yellow thinks all the nicest things in the world are yellow, like sunflowers, so feels he deserves to win.

Miss Green is out to prove that sister’s are doing it for themselves. A feisty lady, she is not afraid to use her female charms to get what she wants!

Registration is free and no proof of purchase is needed. Remember to vote as much as you wish and be sweetly rewarded! Wanna know the grand prize? Log onto www.m-ms.com.ph to vote, check for updates and meet the candydates before casting that important vote.

GSM iParty

I drink. A lot. But i tend to be choosy sometimes when it comes to alcoholic drinks. Seriously speaking, i prefer hard drinks and i don’t have any explanation about that. I love hard drinks period. Okay let’s go back to the main topic hahaha.

I went to GSM iParty event ( Unit 15B, The Shang Grand Tower, Makati City.) to experience their new alcoholic drink, the GSM flavors.

It has two flavors, lychee and apple. Seriously, you will enjoy drinking this with your friends and even with your family.

you can also add syrups or sodas if you want..

this is me and a cup of GSM Flavors Lychee Chill

and how about some “pulutan”? a perfect combination for GSM all thanks to Gerry’s Grill for the delicious food :)

And because we’re so energetic that night, we also try the RockBand Session \m/

we also played “The Dugtungan Challenge”, 1 group consists of 5 members and *cough* *cough* WE WON *cough* *cough* hahaha :D good job alex, nherz, ryan and fpj :)

i would like to say thank you to the hosts especially to the cute guy PJ for the memorable, fun and exciting event. note: PJ is the cute guy wearing pink polo :))

and lastly, i enjoyed this night with my pals, nherz and alex :) thank you, really :)

PS. You don’t need to go to “the bar” to have this GSM Flavors because you can buy it in any store for only 60 pesos. :D
