October: My Favorite Month. ♥

October is my favorite month since it is my birth month. I find it funny when the month starts, everyone asks me of what is really my plan for my birthday. It is so early to ask about that so I always told them that I will sleep the whole day on my birthday, well that's what I really wanted to do. :)

Last year, I spent the whole month with my highschool and college friends, so this year I decided to spent it with other people. Well, it was really unplanned but I enjoyed it so much.

So here's how I spent my favorite month:

1. Gaz Holgate Presscon with Solenn Heussaff

It was my first time to meet the Philippine Volcanoes player Gaz and I was surprised that Solenn went there also to see her childhood friend. They were both nice :)

2. Spent the night with my blogger friends in Crustasia Asian Bistro Rockwell

All thanks to our friendly PR for having this food event exclusive for us. :)

3. Witnessed My Bestfriend's Wedding

I cried when I saw her because it was my first time to witnessed a fairy tale like wedding. :) Had so much fun spending time with JD, Dani and Lhuie.

4. Bought a nice ring from Mia Casa

After the wedding, I went to Rockwell. My plan was to drop by to see Laureen but I was so damn late so I just left something on her booth and bought something for my self. Thanks to Aisa Ipac for putting my name on the guestlist at Rockwell Tent.

5. Watched Lenka's Concert

This event is so unexpected. I always wanted to watch a concert but I was never given a chance until the MCA singer, Tricia Garcia told me that she reserved a ticket for me and it was her treat. :)

6. Behind the Scene of Solenn's Music Video with Gaz Holgate

It was my first time to cover a music video and my first time to meet Direk Paul Soriano, he even talked to me about what do I think of his works. :">

7. Spent a day with my twitter friends

I was with my friend Ly, during the shoot of the music video. Had so much fun with our endless stories. :D

Spent a night with the BCG's, we visited our friend Espie in the hospital and we are crazy, that's all i know :))

8. Celebrated my niece's birthday

With my niece Kim and her brother Lance :)

9. Met my favorite fashion bloggers

After going to the hospital, I went to the multiply event. I was soooo happy to meet some of my favorite fashion bloggers. Thank you so much Laureen for inviting me. Couldn't asked for more :)

10. My Birthday!!! :)

Woke up so late because I suffered from the "one day famous disorder." It is when all of the people from facebook, twitter or any social networking site started greeting you like there's no tomorrow. I decided not to invite anyone except for my two cousins and my sister's boyfriend.

My mom and I do all the preparations. We made it very simple since I only have a few visitors. Since my dad is not in the Philippines, he just called to greet me.

It was my first time to spend my birthday without my sister, she's in Qatar. We decided to bring all the food in my room and we celebrated my birthday with my sister thru skype :)

My favorite icons greeted me on my birthday :)

Lissa Kahayon. One of my favorite fashion bloggers. Such a nice and sweet girl :D

Gaz Holgate. Never thought that he would be so nice to me. I enjoyed all the conversations we had especially the convo's about tattoo and piercings. Thanks mate! :)

Richard Yap. Also known as Papa Chen. Met him during the presscon and he is so gentleman. Thanks Papa Chen for always keeping me updated!

Nicole Andersson. One of my favorite bloggers. She is the sweetest. Thank you soooo much for making my birthday awesome, it mean so much to me :)

Lovi Poe. My favorite lola! She's super duper sweet. So surprised that she greeted me, maybe because me and the rest of BCG's were flooding her timeline haha. Thank you lola first for following me on twitter, second for being so sweet, and last for being our crazy lola :) I love you wagas alam mo yan ♥

Thank you also to Stephanie Dan, My two favorite DJ: Jinri Park and Alven for greeting me, it was nice to hear my name on the radio :"> Thank you to Solenn, Gaz, Lovi and Paulo's manager, sir Leo Dominguez for giving me an opportunity to meet his talents. :)

10. Presscon of Aswang

Had so much fun with the presscon though we were late :D Spent the whole day with Lovi Poe, from Aswang presscon to Eat Bulaga Shoot to Arnold Clavio shoot. Met Paulo Avelino, Joem Bascon, Eri Neeman and Marc Abaya they're soooo cool! Very tiring yet memorable day :)

11. Hooray for Today with Lissa and David

Lissa Kahayon and David Guison. Spent the morning with the two fashion bloggers in Mcdonald's. Though I am not a fashion blogger, I learned a lot from their blogs. They're super cute together :) Thanks Lissa for the invite :)

After the event, we dropped by to Solenn's shoot and gave her a food and look what we've got:

12. My Uncle's Birthday

It's my uncle's birthday but it end up like a family reunion :))

Messing up with my cousin/bestfriend Janica.

With my 3 closest cousins :)

With my mother dearest ♥

And that's how I spent the whole October. Thank you also to all the people who greeted me, I really appreciate it. Thank you so much for those people I mentioned in my blog, without you my birthday wouldn't be as awesome as it was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥ -Rueka (:

Hooray for Today with Lissa and David :)

Whenever my friends ask me if what is my comfort food, I always tell them that it's either the food that my mom or dad cooked or any food from Mcdonalds. YES, I love Mcdonalds since I was a kid, maybe because I am more attracted with the red shoes rather than a bee. :P

"You're so sad, maybe you should buy a happy meal"- That is one of my favorite lines in Katy Perry's song "Ur So Gay". I can really relate on that line because every time I feel sad, happy, annoyed or excited, I always go to Mcdo and buy a happy meal or any food that will make me feel better.

I remember, there's a Mcdo near in our place and it became the meeting place of me and my first closest friends. To eat in Mcdo is one of the coolest way to spend a day with some friends. Unfortunately, during my college days it was been demolished. Until now, I still think that the demolished thingy somehow affects our friendship, my friends and I seldom see each other.

Oh by the way, I have this old french fry holder. Everyone think it was a junk, but for me it is really important. That's the first time I bought a fries together with my closest friends so I think, I will never try to throw it away. I'm such a sentimental girl when it comes to my friends haha.

Speaking of Mcdo, I was invited by the very well-known fashion blogger, Lissa Kahayon to spend a day with her in Mcdonalds together with a well-known fashion blogger too, David Guison. There is also Nina of EON, who made this event happened. I was really excited about that.

I went to Mcdo Makati Cinema Square with my friend Ly, since I can bring one friend. We were there at exactly 9:40am but we decided not to stay at the party area and just stay outside because we were really early. Some of the bloggers went and proceed to the area but me and my friend decided to wait for Lissa before going to the area. When Lissa came in, I was really nervous but at the same time happy because she was so nice. She might not remember my name, but she can remember my face and where we've met.

I was a bit awkward that day because all of the people who are invited in the event are fashion bloggers while I am the only one who blogs about my not so personal life. Yes, I feel very awkward especially when they started talking about fashion. I wanted to do a blog about fashion but I realized that it was never really my thing. But what's more important is that I love Lissa's blog, PERIOD.

David Guison also went to the event and seriously, Lissa and him, really look good together plus they were both nice. It is also nice to know how they start into fashion blogging.
I went to Manila all the way from Cavite just because I love to spend a day with them.

Thanks Lissa, David and of course Nina, for such a wonderful day. Love Ko 'To :D
